Nashville Predators Head Coach Barry Trotz provided a brief update on Mike Fisher and Roman Josi earlier today, both of whom remain day-to-day.
Word got out Wednesday morning, from an unexpected source, that Fisher has a “foot fracture thing.” That source was Carrie Underwood via a recent interview she did about appearing in “The Sound of Music” this December.
Fisher has missed the last three games due to what the team is calling a lower-body injury. Trotz was asked about his status for Thursday’s game against Winnipeg.
“He skated today, so that’s good. It will be up to him,” Trotz said.
Roman Josi has been out of the Predators lineup since Oct. 4 with a concussion he sustained in Colorado. Trotz said he continues to get better.
“He’s got his equipment on, he’s skating by himself. We’ll see where he is tomorrow morning and then our trainers will do the necessary protocol steps they need to do.”
