I am the founder and owner of Smashville 24/7. I also ran the hockey blog RLD Hockey, which was in existence from 2008 to 2012. Smashville 24/7 is a full-time Predators blog that started in the summer of 2011, bringing you features and extensive coverage. I am also the Predators’ highlight producer for 102.5 The Game here in Nashville, as well as a contributor to Sportsnet in Canada.
Since the start of the 2010-11 season, I have been credentialed by the Nashville Predators. I have also been credentialed for a handful of NHL events, including the Winter Classic, Draft and Awards twice, plus the All-Star Game.
Growing up in Cincinnati, I had no NHL team to latch on to. The city had the Mighty Ducks and Cyclones in town, in the AHL and IHL/ECHL respectively, but it just wasn’t NHL hockey. Patrick Roy was my favorite athlete, so naturally I followed the Avalanche. But that all changed when I moved to Nashville in 2002. Bridgestone Arena has become my second home ever since.

I am the founder and owner of Hockey Night in Nashville, which ran from the summer of 2010 until January 2013. I’m a writer here at Smashville 24/7 while attending college at Middle Tennessee State University and pursuing a degree in Journalism.
I was credentialed by the Nashville Predators for a handful of games at the end of the 2010-11 season and then became credentialed for the full 2011-12 season. It’s been a fantastic experience for me so far because it combines two things that I am very passionate about: Hockey and writing.
I became a hockey fan at a very young age and became an NHL fan in 1998 when I went to my first Predators game. I was six years old at the time, and the sport has stuck with me ever since.

I am the founder and owner of Inside Smashville, which ran from the summer of 2011 until January 2013. Now, I’m a contributor here at Smashville 24/7. During the day, I’m lucky to have the opportunity to shape young minds at MTSU by teaching in the political science department’s pre-law program.
I was credentialed by the Nashville Predators first for the 2010-11 season when I ran Predlines. The 2013-14 season is my fourth season as credentialed media.
I moved to Nashville from Canada in 2008. A lifelong fan of the sport of hockey, I grew up watching the sport for as long as I can remember. Making the decision to move to Tennessee was easier to make giving that there was a professional hockey team in town. I also like to watch a variety of other sports like football and cycling, but nothing comes close to the awesomeness of the NHL.
