If the locking nuts room not tightened properly, the valve clearances can adjust that fast. Once I do a valve adjustment, I constantly turn the engine over v at least two cycles by hand, then double check mine clearances, come make sure that everything is tight and also correct. Rivets, ns went ago and dual checked the valve clearances and also they were a small off. (thank you, ns will dual check from currently on) I got them ago to .004, and also it wouldn't start, exact same problem, it doesn't want to revolve over. I readjusted it come .003 on the entry (bottom) and also .005 top top the exhaust (top). This didn't aid either that still won't start. No sir, I'm not sure I'm transforming it in the exactly direction, but I was turning it clockwise. Together for being confused, well, I've been perplexed by a totality lot less than this. I've piddled about with that some much more this afternoon. I adjusted the clearances come .004 intake, .006 exhaust. It still didn't want to rotate over however for some reason after ns let that sit because that a while when I do the efforts to start it again it was spinning complimentary but it just wouldn't fire. I changed it ago to .004 because that both, now we are ago to no wanting to turn over. Placed it earlier on .004/.006 still wouldn't turn over. Every time ns took the valve cover off, there to be a bunch the gas in there, if that means anything. For this reason valve overlap? does that have anything to perform with the timing?
