Basic Drapery Panels

To figure yardage for basic drapery panels, friend will require the reduced length (finished size + pin money for your preferred hem and also rod pocket size - NOTE: ours workroom adds 16") the variety of panels you are making.

If your selected towel has a repeat, friend will require 1 panel at the continuous cut length and then girlfriend will need to add the number of inches in the repeat come each extr panel.

Examples using typical 84" finished size panels:*Change the variety of inches added for hems and also rod pockets, and repeats, come suit her needs*

Fabric through NO repeat:

Panels - 84" + 16" = 100" every panelx 2 panels = 200" (5.625 yards / 6 yards to it is in safe)x 3 panels = 300" (8.33 yards / 9 yards to it is in safe)x 4 panels = 400" (11.125 yards / 12 yards to be safe)

Fabric with a 27" repeat:

1st panel - 84" + 16" = 100"2nd & added panels - 84" + 16" + 27" = 127"x 2 panels = 227" (6.30 yards / 7 yards to it is in safe)x 3 panels = 354" (9.83 yards / 10 yards to be safe)x 4 panels = 481" (13.36 yards / 14 yards to be safe)

NOTE: If you room making panels for additional windows, the number of inches in the repeat should be included to ALL remaining panels to continue matching them every to the very very first panel.
