Add some liquid soap to lukewarm water and soak your fingers in this soapy water for about 5 minutes.

Now take a lemon slice and rub it on your nails. This will help soften the nail polish and make it come off easily.

The acidic nature of lemon can make your fingers dry. So, rub some moisturiser or oil to keep your hands soft and supple.

2. White Vinegar

Just like lemon, vinegar is also acidic in nature and can help breakdown the pigments of the nail polish. You can even use a vinegar solution mixed with lemon juice to make this DIY ingredient more effective.

First, soak the nails in warm water for 15 minutes.

Mix equal parts of lemon juice and vinegar or take just vinegar.

Use this mixture to remove your nail paint. Soak a cotton ball in the solution and rub it on your nails.

You can also simply soak your hands in the vinegar and lemon mixture for 15 minutes and then rub your nails with cotton to get rid of the nail paint.

Moisturise or apply nail oil afterward.

3. Alcohol Or Alcohol Products

Alcohol is a good solvent to soften nail polish. Isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol should be your first choice. However, there are many products that contain alcohol (ethyl glycol) and can also be used if you don’t have rubbing alcohol. Alcohol is a good solvent, but it"s still not the same as acetone or toluene so it will take more time than nail polish removers.

The stronger the alcohol content the better a product will work. You can try these products other than rubbing alcohol:

Hand sanitiser

Spray-on deodorant

First, soak your nails in lukewarm water to soften the nail paint.

Wet a cotton ball with alcohol or any of the products mentioned above and use it to wipe off the nail paint.

To keep your nails healthy, use a moisturiser or a nail oil.

4. Nail Polish

Although this sounds wrong, nail polish actually helps remove nail polish. Nail paint dries up because the solvents that keep it in liquid form evaporate if left exposed. Once you reapply a coat of nail paint again, the solvents soften the polish.
