Predators vs Capitals: Prediction

Nashville Predators
Nashville has shown poor results for a long time, but still the team was able to break its losing streak, which reached five games. The Predators took on St. Louis at their home arena and defeated their opponent 6:2. The entire first line showed a great game, scoring nine points. Goaltender Saros should not be overlooked either as he saved 33 of 35 shots.
Prior to that, the Predators couldn’t even put up a fight against their opponents, often losing by a wide margin. Only in the game with Los Angeles were good chances for success – a loss in the shootout (3-4).
In 2012 Barry Trotz looked back on that time the Preds drafted Matt Hendricks. Matt could help in this games too.
Washington Capitals
Washington is having an away series, which started quite successfully. The team met with New Jersey and defeated the clear outsider 6-3.
The Capitals failed to seal the result with another win. They had to face a much more serious opponent in Dallas, who lost by a score of 6-3. All of a sudden, the Capitals had serious problems on offense – not a single shot from 27 on offense reached the mark.
Prediction
Nashville rarely copes with the pressure of their opponents, often conceding a large number of pucks. Indeed, it is impossible to call the Predators’ defense reliable, so Washington has a great opportunity to realize their attacking potential to the fullest extent. That’s why it’s worth betting on the over par total.
