Nashville Predators
Nashville has recovered from a poor start to the new season. The team unexpectedly defeated Minnesota 5-2 on the road. Defenseman Yosi showed a great game, scoring a puck and giving three assists. Goaltender Ingram deserves praise as well, as he saved 33 of 35 shots.
The Predators returned to their home court, where they even managed to consolidate their success with another win over San Jose (3-1). Once again, the team showed a solid defensive play which allowed them to earn points.
The Predators will unveil new home jerseys, and may be it will help them to win.
NY Islanders
The Islanders continue their winning streak, which started with losses to Carolina (3-6) and Florida (1-5). In the match against Chicago, the team was able to rehabilitate themselves with a confident 4-1 victory. It is worth praising goalie Sorokin who saved 39 of 40 shots.
The Islanders also faced Columbus and put up a serious fight, but their opponent proved stronger in overtime. But New York managed to beat Arizona (3-0) and Vegas (2-0) with ease.
Prediction
Nashville returned to the home arena and recovered from their slump. But the team will have to face the Islanders, who, in turn, have gained an excellent tempo and consistently smash their opponents on the road. So it’s better to opt for the Islanders.
