Predators vs Senators: Prediction
Nashville Predators
Nashville returned to the home arena after an away series and with great difficulty defeated Philadelphia (5-4). The team made a comeback thanks to excellent offensive play, in particular, it is worth noting the forward Trenin, who made a double. However, goalie Saros wasn’t the most reliable, hitting just 83% of his shots.
Before that, the Predators played on the road, suffering two devastating losses to Los Angeles (1-6) and Vegas with a similar score. Twice, the Predators could not stop the pressure of their opponent because of poor defensive play.
Ottawa Senators
Ottawa continues to be in the penultimate place in the Eastern Conference table with 52 points. Indeed, this season the Senators have had a terrible game, in particular, it is worth noting the problems with efficiency, on average the club scores two and a half pucks per meeting, which is too little for the NHL.
In four games, the Senators had just one win over Winnipeg (5-2). Forward Tkachuk showed his best side with a double-double.
Prediction
Nashville looks a head stronger than its opponent and on the home arena should easily cope with Ottawa, which, in turn, continues to show poor results. We shouldn’t take any chances, but rather place a confident bet on the Predators’ win.
